• Call Log & Contacts — for caller identification, spam detection, and call blocking.
• SMS (read/receive/send/write) — only when you set ViCall as your Default SMS app to identify and filter junk messages.
• Call Screening role — required for call screening and blocking.
• Default Phone app (optional) — enables the most complete Caller ID and call management experience on some devices.
• Notifications (optional) — for call/SMS alerts you enable; can be turned off anytime.
• Internet — to query caller information and update spam lists.

• Identification is not available for all numbers; availability varies by region and data sources.
