Stoke-on-Trent: A Living Heritage City (LHC) is a two-year UKSP-funded Pilot – project-managed by Stoke-on-Trent City Council – showcasing the cultural heritage assets and rich historical narratives of the city, using both physical and digital interpretation. The ‘Seeds’ programme utilises additional funding matched from Arts Council England’s National Lottery Project Grants. The aim of the programme is to create a shared heritage ‘narrative trail’ across the city working in partnership, and involving and inspiring residents and visitors – towards showcasing the city’s living heritage to the widest possible audiences.
