Meet Sabiá Field Technician, a tool that brings all the information for managing farmers and implementing agroforestry systems at your fingertips.

Exclusively developed for trained and accredited technicians to assist farmers in the implementation of agroforestry systems and in the restoration of native vegetation through the Agroforestry and Restoration Accelerator.

Sabiá aims to support small farmers in the implementation of agroforestry systems and land restoration through training, assistance from specialized technicians, access to inputs, and more. Through Sabiá, farmers participating in the Agroforestry and Restoration Accelerator can generate income and – at the same time – restore forest areas and remove carbon. A sustainable cycle, where everyone wins: the farmers, the community, the forest, and society.

Registered field technicians can provide support to participating farmers through features including:

A platform for scheduling in-person technical assistance;
Messaging exchange with farmers to collect information and provide virtual assistance;
Satellite imagery mapping tool to identify and designate areas for agroforestry and restoration;
Registration of farmers in the Accelerator;
Checklists for field data collection during service visits;
Action plans to keep in touch with farmers about agroforestry management needs between visits.
