QTrack is a comprehensive digital examination management system developed by KITE (Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education) for Higher Secondary Examinations. The system includes a mobile application and web portal to ensure secure, transparent, and technology-driven monitoring of examinations across schools.
The application is designed for use by the Chief of Examination and Deputy Chief in Higher Secondary schools. It enables officials to access the school-specific examination timetable and view subjects scheduled for each session in real time.
A key feature of QTrack is QR code–based verification of question paper packets. Before opening any packet, the authorized officer must scan the QR code using the mobile application. The system automatically validates the scanned code against the scheduled subject and session for the school, allowing packet opening only when the details match. This prevents errors and strengthens examination integrity.
QTrack also supports real-time reporting of examination logistics, including:
• Number of question paper packets received
• Number of packets opened and unopened
• Examination start and end status
• Answer script parcel and dispatch details
The application includes an incident reporting module that enables officials to instantly report issues such as malpractice, invigilation concerns, or other irregularities during the examination process.
A centralized monitoring dashboard is available at Regional Deputy Director (RDD) level and State level, providing real-time visibility into examination progress, packet status, and reported incidents across all schools.
Developed by KITE for the Department of Education, QTrack represents a significant step towards secure, transparent, and efficient digital examination management in the Higher Secondary education system.
