Draw Music: Line to Song

One line. That's all it takes to start a song.

Draw Music: Line to Song turns whatever you draw into a melody you can hear. Drag your finger across the screen, lift it, and listen as your line becomes notes. No lessons, no sheet music, no instrument. Just you and a single stroke.

FROM LINE TO SONG

It starts with a simple idea:
- The higher your line goes, the higher the note.
- The further to the right it travels, the later it plays.
- Every curve, zigzag, spiral or scribble creates its own tune.

Draw a wave and hear it rise and fall. Draw a staircase and hear it climb. Draw a little cat and find out what a cat sounds like.

SKETCH LOOSELY, SOUND TIDY

Behind your drawing is a 32 x 20 grid: 32 steps of time and 20 pitches. Your strokes snap neatly to the grid and land right on the beat, so even a quick or shaky doodle sounds steady and clean.

NO IDEAS? LET A TEMPLATE START YOU OFF

Stuck on a blank screen? Open the built-in template library: birds, animals, landscapes, people and plenty more. Tap one and press Play to hear the drawing sing right away.

Then turn it into your own song: add new lines, draw over the old ones, change the instrument, speed it up or slow it down, or switch to a different scale.

IT ALWAYS SOUNDS GOOD

Every note you draw is matched to the scale you pick, so there are no clashing or "wrong" notes.
- Scales: Pentatonic (clear and airy), Major (bright and happy), Minor (deep and moody)
- Root note: 12 options to move the whole song higher or lower
- Tempo: 40 to 240 BPM, from a slow ballad to a fast dance track

INSTRUMENTS FOR EVERY LINE

Soft Key with its gentle electric-piano tone, Marimba with its playful wooden mallets, Warm Synth with its cozy pad, Bells with their sparkling chimes, and many more waiting to be tried.

Each instrument draws in its own color. Use several colors on one screen to layer your song: a main melody, a soft background, a few bright notes on top. New lines always draw over old ones, so you can keep changing things without starting from scratch.

HANDY TOOLS

- Undo one stroke at a time, or clear everything and start again
- Loop to hear your song repeat while you draw
- Show or hide the colored cells to see every note you've placed
- Works fully offline, so you can draw anywhere

TURN YOUR LINE INTO A REAL FILE

When your song is ready, export it:
- WAV: real audio for any phone or player. Share it with friends, set it as a ringtone, or add it to your videos as background music.
- MIDI: a compact file you can open in music software to keep editing and build a full track.

GREAT FOR
