Clappy Phone Finder Launcher combines a launcher home screen with a nearby clap phone finder. Use app shortcuts and search, access supported device settings, and turn on clap detection when you want help finding your phone nearby.
Choose an available sound, vibration, or flashlight response and activate clap detection. When the app recognizes a clap, the phone can respond with the selected alert. Detection may vary with surrounding sounds, distance, microphone, phone position, Android settings, and sensitivity level.
► CLAP PHONE FINDER APP
Clappy Phone Finder Launcher uses the microphone to process sounds while clap detection is active. If a sound is recognized as a clap, the app can activate the selected response on the phone where it is installed.
► CLAP TO FIND MY PHONE
Use Clap to Find My Phone when your phone is nearby but out of sight, such as under a cushion, beside a bed, behind an object, or on a desk.
With the phone powered on and clap detection active, a nearby clap may trigger the selected alert. The response can vary depending on the environment and device settings.
► CLAP TO RING MY PHONE
Clap to Ring My Phone can play the selected alert sound after a clap is detected. Listen for the sound to help locate the phone nearby.
Sound playback may vary with the configured volume, audio mode, speaker, Android settings, and available alert options.
► FLASHLIGHT PHONE LOCATOR
The flashlight option can use the rear LED as a visual response when a clap is detected. This may help you notice the phone in a dim area.
Flashlight behavior depends on the phone model, available LED hardware, permissions, Android settings, and current device state.
► LOST DEVICE FINDER
The Lost Device Finder is designed as a nearby sound-based locator. It does not use GPS, display a location on a map, or provide internet-based tracking.
The app is intended to respond on the phone where it is installed rather than locate, ring, or control another device. A phone that is powered off, outside microphone range, or not listening for claps would generally not respond.
► CLAPPY PHONE FINDER
Use the Clappy Phone Finder controls to select an available response, adjust clap detection sensitivity, and start or stop listening.
A foreground service supports detection while the feature is running. An active listening notification may appear depending on the Android version and device settings.
► LAUNCHER TOOLS
• Open installed applications from the launcher.
• Search for installed apps.
• Access available app shortcuts and supported device options.
► SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
Open supported Android Settings and App info pages from the launcher. The available options may vary by device and Android version.
► UTILITY TOOLS
• Choose an available sound, vibration, or flashlight alert.
• Adjust clap detection sensitivity for your surroundings.
• Start or stop the listening mode when needed.
► DETECTION CONDITIONS
• Clap within the phone microphone's range.
• Reduce background noise when possible.
• Adjust sensitivity if surrounding sounds activate the alert.
• Move closer or change the sensitivity if a clap is not recognized.
Phone placement, room acoustics, distance, microphone hardware, conversations, music, and other sharp sounds can affect detection. Similar sounds may activate the response, and some claps may not be recognized. Android battery settings may also affect background listening.
