Stars, by their nature, emit blinding radiance. Essential for nurturing life, but in overabundance would scorch the very life it empowers. A World of Light, entrancing in the moment, but destined for decimation.

Astraea, a world enveloped in the Light's protection. Adorned with a twinkling blue moon, and myriad races coexist in peaceful harmony on her face.However, when beheld by Star Ruler Nixmachina, there was something missing from Astraea.


[A drop of darkness]

A World of Light is fragile and destined for destruction. Only with the existance of Darkness, will Light have any true value and ensure the stability of the world - this was "The Principle". For this reason Nixmachina placed a drop of Darkness unto Astraea. For all creatures constantly in blinding light, there now came the refuge of peaceful nights.

The Darkness hungers beyong Nixmachina's expectations, it consumed and corrupted the hearts of the living. The principled harmony, that befuddles even the Will of the Gods, now drags dear Astraea into the Abyss. As the moon wanes and the night becomes truly dark, Astraea was then forever changed.

Nixmachina, realizing his folly, reached out beyond time and space. Searching for heroes that are able to coax back the Light from Darkness.

And so they were found, ones with burning souls, alight with the fierce flames of justice and conviction, the heroes from the Three Kingdoms. Reincarnated on Astraea, they now walk the path guided by their souls.

Oh, Chosen One, bringer of Principled Harmony. Follow your soul.
