Brackon Coast functions as a shoreline reference database executing locally on device memory. The system requires no user account creation, profile registration, or external network communication. All user entries remain stored within host system memory.

Coastal Landmark Indexing
The application catalogs shoreline locations across defined geographical categories: lighthouses, coves, cliffs, harbours, piers, and flat beaches. Each entry incorporates three core metrics:
-Associated shoreline section
-Total walking route distance
-Summary of destination features at the end of the route

Location Categorization and Entry Tracking
1. Saved Locations Directory: Target locations save directly into a dedicated user collection titled My Coast.
2. Visited Status Marking: Users tag specific landmarks as visited once reached.
3. Distance Tally: An automated counter calculates total visited shoreline locations.

Site-Specific Field Logging
A dedicated note module enables users to write and save text notes linked to individual locations. These logs in Brackon Coast capture operational site details including tidal patterns, parking availability, and light transition times.
